                                        A ZMIO'S TOP PRIORITY IN MANIFESTO  The economic revival front Azimio la Umoja one Kenya coalition has prioritized restructuring the debt portfolio currently standing at nine trillion shilling. The coalition also pledges to reduce the pace to which the country is borrowing and strengthening debt management systems to steady the country's debt obligation.  As part of the economic revival agenda, the Raila-Karua manifesto targets to restructure the country's debt mostly from commercial loans to concessional loans by negotiating the terms of the loans and reducing the pace at which debt is accumulated. KDF Soldier Sentenced to 5-Year Jail Term for Obtaining KSh 300k in Recruitment Malpractices It is a five-year jail term for Corporal Fred Kiptum Kiplagat after he was found guilty of recruitment malpractices The KDF soldier was convicted of obtaining KSh 300k from military hopefuls under the false pretence he would help them gain entry into the armed forces The Magistrate directed that all the charges run concurrently and granted the accused 14 days to lodge an appeal if dissatisfied with the court's decision.  A Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) soldier was on Monday, November 29, 2021, handed a five-and-a-half-year jail sentence by a Court Martial at Lang’ata Barracks over recruitment malpractices.   Well known lawyer   Miguna ,has emphasis that President   Uhuru   Kenyatta 's support to   Orange Democratic Movement   (ODM) leader   Raila   Odinga will make Odinga's party to be unpopular. In an interview conversation Miguna pointed out that President Kenyatta's ten-year term was marked by the high cost of living, which left most Kenyans poorer. "The road is muddy and not very clear, Uhuru has made it impossible for Raila to become president of Kenya. An outspoken lawyer also pointed out that Raila had received strong support in the last election as he symbolized his opposition to the current situation. Miguna, however, noted that the current Raila would not get a top seat if he is considered a government project.
